The Fragrant Wonder of Rangbharni Ekadashi
Phoolon Ki Holi is celebrated annually on Rangbharni Ekadashi (four days before main Holi). Unlike conventional gulal celebrations, priests and devotees shower the deity and one another with quintals of fragrant rose petals, marigolds, and mogra blossoms.
- Duration: The flower celebration lasts for approximately 30 to 45 minutes right after morning Shringar Aarti.
- Sensory Experience: The temple sanctum fills with the sublime aroma of fresh flowers and herbal gulal.
- Crowd Caution: Thousands pack the courtyard; travel agents should guide clients to safe viewing balconies or arrive well before temple gates open.
